David woke up at midnight last sunday and was throwing up... minutes later it was my turn. We both ended up throwing up at least every hour until the morning. I slept and David played video games to try and take his mind off of it, however we both continued to be sick for that entire day. We spend all monday laying on the couch moaning and complaining and sleeping most of the day away. We thought we were going to die. All of our muscles and joints hurt and our ribs felt bruised for days...although David was just as sick as I was, he took the time to call the doctor and get some instructions to make sure I was getting enough fluids for both the baby and I.... I am so so lucky to have such a thoughtful and caring hubby!!!
PRAISE GOD we are better... it took a few days for our stomaches to return but now we are all back to normal... We both agreed that we have not been that sick in years.... I hope and pray that nobody has to go through what we did :(
LOVE YOU!!

It is SPRING in my kitchen!
I finally finished my kitchen! I painted the wall, made the curtains (with the help of mom's sewing machine, and bought the coordinating daisies to decorate for Spring!! I also Hung up all the wall art so now it is finished!! I have two big stones that have the eiffel tower and fluer de lis on them. Then I have a frame with four beautiful portraits of France in it. The red charger plates with the coordinating red napkins look stunning against the black tablecloth!!! Complete with the red candles nestled in the glass centrepiece.
WahoO!!
My Paris themed kitchen is Tres Magnifique!

Our Hot Air Balloon Ride!
David and I had recieved a wedding present for an hour balloon ride!! We were finally able to use it and boy was it amazing! We had to get up at 5:30 and drove out way north. By the time we got there it was getting to be morning, and the sun was begining to rise! We got to our take off site and began to prep the balloon. It was so fun being a part of holding it and blowing it up! Once we got into the air it was breath taking. We soared for about 30 minutes and the wind took us all over the place. as we began our descend, we noticed the wind had carried us back to the same spot we had taken off. Crazy how that worked out!

I was inspired!
Jessica was posting recipes so it made me want to share some of my favorites with you!!
Grandma's Great Enchiladas
For those of you who already know mexican food is really the only food that I can enjoy. So my mom gave me this amazing recipe for Enchiladas.
Beef Enchiladas
Ingredients:
2 Cups Sour Cream
2 Cans Cream of Celery Soup
2, 3oz cans Ortega diced green chiles
8 oz cheddar cheese
1 lb hamburger, drained
12 corn tortillas
1 small chopped onion
1) Heat sour cream, cream of celery, and Green chiles in saucepan
2) Brown and drain hambuger meat
3) Dip tortillas in oil for 3 sec. just to soften them. Let them drain on paper towel.
Then hold tortilla in hand and scoop in buger, onion, cheese, and the sauce. Roll up and lay seam down in 9X13 dish.
Cover all with remaining sauce and cheese.
place in 350 Degrees for 15 minutes!!
ENJOY!

Our first glimpse of our little miracle!

David and I had our ultrasound today! It was amazing. Our baby was jumping all around and kicking its feet a whole lot. At one point the little one had used its legs to kick off of one side and bonked its head on the other... Boy am I going to have my hands full :)
Judging by the EXTREMELY active baby the Doctor and David both think it is for sure a boy... and a future athlete too!
Everything looked great. I was 8 weeks into my trimester but because the baby is growing so fast they sped up the due date and now we are 9 weeks and 1 day! Not that it will matter that much, how common is it to actually deliver on the specified date anyway :)
Crazy what that little peanut can do! It isn't even born yet and already our life revolves around it hahaha!
Well!! I will post the adorable pictures as soon as David can scan them in to the compter!!
Love you all,
Thanks for reading and praying for our family of three :)
Blessings,
David and Amanda
