She turned 8m on May 8th!! And boy what a busy month this has been!
She went from her army crawl to actual crawling... which... is a lot faster and she keeps me on my toes! She has learned to climb the front step and if she kept going could climb the stairs!!!! She LOVES to pull herself up on the crib, couch, tables and anything else. I love going to get her in the morning and see a bouncy baby standing tall!
She plays with her bottle more than actually eating it. She would much rather take those 6oz from a sippy cup or even a straw! She only prefers the hard sippy cup spouts no soft ones like Gigi did. And she figured out the crazy straw last night when sissy's lemonade made it into her mouth :) She eat cherrios, puffs and ritz crackers but also loves finger foods like eggs, peas and chicken pot pie ;) I have made all her fruits and veggies so it is weird to not have to puree everything any more. She still gags on the yogurt melts... just not a fan of those! Other than that she liked most of the things we give her... especially the insides of our doughnuts ;)

She is out of the baby clothes like onesies and now into 18m clothes and 2T swimsuits :) She is a chunkette for sure! She weighs about 20 lbs and is 27in tall... wow!
She likes to stand and play now! Thankfully we have only had a few falls. She LOVES to play with Gracelyn, and thinks even roughhousing is so funny! The other day we took the girls on a walk in their wagon and Gracelyn was kind of pushing Ella back so she wouldn't lean forward (looked a lot like pushing) but Briella just laughed and laughed!! They LOVE each other... Gracelyn is really into sharing with her.... since Briella now SCREAMS at her for taking something she has, Gigi has learned to give her something else!
She thinks she is as big as her sister and will just walk away from holding onto something ... and face plants onto the wood floor... she really thinks she can walk... little silly :)
She loves to be outside and we spend a lot of our time out there now with the new picnic table and umbrella. Gracelyn and her play with their water table and the trampoline, but the favorite is to line out a bunch of blankets or towels and just lay down playing or reading books together!!! I LOVE IT!
She is on the move and between crawling and climbing and walking along furniture she can pretty much go anywhere... so we have a VERY close watch on this kid!!!
One of the things she likes a lot this month is holding our hands and walking... she gets so proud of herself and she puts one foot in front of the other... I can't believe she is learning the beginning stages of walking!!!!!
Another new thing this month was finding out that she is NO LONGER allergic to every brand of diapers. She can wear Huggies and Pampers... the others still show small bumps, but since we had to give up on cloth for now due to some major ammonia chemical burns it is so nice that she can wear disposables again! Though call me crazy I do miss the cloth diapering!!!!! I won't sell my entire stash in hopes of maybe using them again in the future when her PH levels balance out a little better!!
she also go to experience a trip up to Flagstaff! My sister and her hubby graduated and are now teachers!!!! yay!!!

Landon LOVES his little cousin "Gewey" She always wants to be a part of the fun!!
She is still the most smiley and happiest baby I Know!!!! Hard to imagine this kid screams constantly for the first two months... now you rarely find her NOT smiling :) I can't get enough of this little girl! She is growing up so fast! She knows who her Daddy is and she will put her hands on his face and say "Da da Da da" I am still waiting for Mumumumum nothing yet :(
