Rain.. rain...

LOVE watching these girls interact with each other when they are NOT wrestling, pulling each other's hair and just being siblings ;)

They actually enjoy playing together and when it was raining the other day... they stood in the window for a long time just looking at the rain and the streets and giggling!

BIG Birthday post!

David had to work on Briella's birthday so it was just a small celebration. My sister's came over with donuts and Pumpkin spiced latte's (for us of course) and we enjoyed a quiet fun family day at home!
Briella opened a few presents from us! She LOVES her baby Cinderella doll and her little jumpy beans.

We put the special birthday candle into a small doughnut and Ella was mesmorized by the flame! 

and then she ate it...

and another...

and another!! haha she LOVED it!

Emma loved all the birthday festivities too!! 

It was a great day!!!

Then on Friday David had the day off so we pretended it was her birthday!

We started off with pink pancakes ;)

Then we went for a walk down to see the horses! The girls both LOVE the wagon so much and we are really looking forward to more walks now that the weather is cooling down!

After our walk we went to the pediatrician. Poor baby got shots .. actually BOTH babies got shots :( Briella weighed in just under 25 lbs and was 31.25 inches tall (100%) We make some CUTE chunkettes for sure ;)

As a reward and to celebrate Ella's bday we took the kiddos to Chuck-E-Cheese! If you remember we took Gracelyn here for her birthday too! You can find the post here :) 

YES I am aware that they were wearing the same birthday shirt and crown... I AM that Mom ;)

It was very empty and both the girls loved wandering around. Briella stayed in the toddler section but Gracie ran all over the place... rode rides... played games... played in tunnels... she had a LOT of fun and freedom ;)

and private concerts ...

and PIZZA!!

It was such a fun day celebrating as a family! 

We are so excited for our family and friends to come celebrate with us this weekend!!

4 blessed years of marriage!

David had the day off for our Anniversary!! It was such a nice surprise! That morning I woke up and put on my wedding dress (yes I am THAT girl... I LOVED my dress) After wearing it around the house... Gracelyn wanted to wear it! First we put the veil on her... super cute! She loved looking at herself in the mirror! She wanted to show Daddy who of course grabbed the camera!

We had so much fun playing dress up but I think for both David's and my sake we can't even bear to think she will be walking down the aisle one day!

Maybe one day she will want to wear a piece of my dress on her wedding day... but that won't be many many MANY many many many years! 

However IF she does follow her mama's footsteps and gets engaged at 19 that means I only have 16 more years with my sweet baby girl!!!!

Oh baby girl don't grow up too fast !!

After all the emotions and smiles and some tears... we went back to playing puzzles and dolls and watching Beauty and the Beast! The way it SHOULD be ;)

My sweet sister came over and offered to watch the girls so we could go to a matinee! It was so much fun! Then that Saturday the girls spent the night at my Mom's house. They had so much fun with Nana and David and I went to dinner at Ghengis (our favorite) and then to see Crazy, Stupid, Love! That evening we had the house to ourself, watched some TV and then slept in until 8:45... HEAVEN!!!!

Happy 4 years baby! Heres to 60+ more!!!

Fairytales Do Come True :)

It is amazing to think I have spent 5 years with the love of my life!

We wrote each other for about a month while I was nannying out of the country. What started as friends quickly grew into more as I started to fall in love with his heart! He challenged me in reading the Word, and encouraged me with bible verses. I knew I was going to marry him after only writing for a few weeks!

After returning home we went with some friends out to dinner and there he asked me to go to a hockey game with him and night he asked me for something more "committed" on October 1, 2006. I still remember the text I got on my way home that night. "Drive home safely sweetheart!"

We dated for two and a half months and during those months we talked of marriage, rings, family and over Thanksgiving weekend we drive to California to meet his extended family. There walking hand in hand on the beach he asked me what kind of engagement ring I like... I was SO excited!!

Then on Christmas Eve December 24, 2006 he proposed at the "Magic House"
We spent a VERY LONG 9 months planning our amazing wedding and on September 1, 2007 we were married in the presence of the Lord, our dear friends and family!

6 months into our marriage we found out we were pregnant... we apparently got pregnant on
Feb 14, 2008. Yes our Gracie Shea was a Valentines Baby ;)

On November 5, 2008 she arrived a little early but in perfect timing! The year flew by so fast and David and I enjoyed every little moment with lots of pictures and videos!

We started trying for another sibling that winter and were surprised to see on the ultrasound after being told we had a miscarriage ... a tiny little 7 week baby with a STRONG beating heart! Thank goodness God is in CONTROL of ALL things.

On September 8, 2010 We welcome a very tiny little Briella Rain into the world. This night was long awaited, scary and happy all in one!

The last 4 years of marriage have been so amazing and I am so thankful for the blessing David is in my  life!
