On a hot yet wonderful saturday in july, David and I exchanged vows and committed ourselves to one another before friends, family and before our Lord.

We both decided to write our own vows, to make it more personal and unique.

David's vows to Amanda

"Amanda Shea Evans... Until you were brought into my life, I felt incomplete just as Adam must have felt in the garden before God gave him Eve. Then, when I least expected it, you looked my way and my life was forever changed. You are my friend, my soulmate, my one true love. Today I make you this solemn vow before our friends and family and before God that I will cherish you all the days of my life... in days of triumph and days of defeat, in days of plenty and in days of want, in days of wellness and in days of failing health, and in joy as well as sorrow... No matter what our future holds for us, I promise o love and respect you unconditionally until I breathe my last breath."

Gracious! It was the most amazing thing anyone has ever said to me.
I will never forget that moment.
