This week our baby has its circulatory system... in other words, the blood system is formed along with the heart. Now although the heart is beating it will still be a few more weeks until they learn to coordinate. So that means that in less than 2 weeks our baby will have a beating heart. Crazy! Along with the heart our baby's spinal cord has begun to form and the precursor to it brain.
My oh my does this not amaze you?! God is so miraculous and and so complex! If this doesn't prove there is a God then what possibly can?! Even though Ducky is the size of an orange seed I am still completely in love!!!
We are so excited for our first doctor appointment on Thursday!!! I will let you all know how it goes!!

Congratulations!!!!!!!! Your first ultrasound will be something you'll never forget and it will be absolutely amazing to David. It's hard sometimes for guys to grasp the reality of it because the baby is not in their tummies, but once they see that; they are floored! Matt still talks about it. I've been keeping a journal of each "physical" thing I experience on a weekly basis...sickness, skin and hair changes, etc. Something to keep in mind, so you remember for next time you're pregnant! :) Well, we must keep in touch through this! Oh my goodness, I'm so excited! I love that you wrote how the baby is growing and what stage she (I have an opinion already) is at. Can you even imagine the people that argue for abortion? It's only five weeks and she already has a blood system!
