I can't believe that my sweet little girl is 15 months old! Such a big milestone. It is so bittersweet that she is getting older and learning new things but also on her way to turning two this fall :( I love each new day spent with her. Her little sass-a-frass personality is so evident, and though at times it is so challenging I love nothing more than being her mommy. She is learning more words and pushing boundaries like crazy!
One of my most favorite words (for now) that she says is "New" which of course means "no" but right now it is so cute. She will open up the pantry and bring me the cookies saying "Ma ma, new new" while shaking her head. It is so clear that she understands she can't just take things out of the pantry but she is trying to ask for cookies... I LOVE watching her try to use her big girl words.
She had her first major melt down temper tantrum this month. David and I just stood there watching in shock as she worked her way down to the floor on her tummy... typical tantrum... crazy!! All because we asked her to say "Please"
She is still a temporary self proclaimed vegetarian. Even though she doesn't like meat she could eat fruit all day. She is a HUGE carb lover (just like Mommy) and she has begun my awful snacking habits of eating very little snacks throughout the whole day!
Gracelyn will be coming with me as I nanny full time starting in two weeks! I can't wait to watch Gracelyn learn to be a bug sister to sweet baby Colette, a most precious 8 week old! I am very much looking forward to watching her... and I know Gigi is excited to be around the "Beebee" everyday.
Today we went to the Dr. she is growing great and knows more words that the average 15m old. Although, to us she doesn't seem to use that many of them. She weighs 26.6 lbs, and is 33 inches tall. Apparently she has a small head compared to her body hahah... 93% in all her weight and height but only 13% for her head!!!!! I guess it is better than a head that is too big for her body hahah!
Stay tuned for more new and exciting adventures with our family!!
