The morning of Gracelyn's birthday David had to go to work early so we got her up before he left with the video camera singing happy birthday! I think we startled her but then she got excited!!
Because David was going to be working all day and closing that evening I decided to go to my parents house to celebrate with them my sister and their hubbys! It has always been an Evans tradition to have pink pancakes on birthdays. As a Noland now David and I added to the tradition with some fun cookie cutters and shapes.

After breakfast and presents the girls headed to Michael's and JoAnn's for some Christmas shopping. We had so much fun and had to extend the day by going to 5 N' Diner for lunch and a birthday sunday! After naps, dinner and bathtime Daddy came home and we celebrated all over again with more pink mickey mouse pancakes and turkey bacon! We then finished off the night with presents she got some coloring books, crayons, dress up jewelry, a laughing and talking cookie monster and some sparkle pink shoes!
IT WAS A GREAT DAY INDEED! We love our sweet sassy girl and can't believe how fast these two years flew by! We are so grateful to the Lord for our Gracelyn and how much joy she brings to our family!
