Big Trouble...

This little miss was sent to time out for pushing a friend.... little did I know she would use this "time" out to climb her dresser and grab the Desitin that Mommy THOUGHT was too high for her to reach ;)

Had no idea that Desitin was SO STINKIN' HARD to get off!!!!

Oh yes, why wouldn't you finger paint with it... 

I would love to tell you I washed her and giggled about it the whole time but I so did not. I bathed her in silence and put her down for a nap immediately after... thinking she was asleep... an hour later I hear her so I go into her room and see toys, clothes, and anything else ALL OVER THE FLOOR! Matter of fact I couldn't even see the floor.. I had no energy left at that point so I just let her be.

..... 1 hour later.....

I hear this CRASH and BOOM and run as FAST as I could to get my baby. I just knew that her bookshelf had fallen off the dresser and imagined the worst.. expecting to see her pinned under the huge piece of furniture. 

PRAISE THE LORD the bookshelf was still on the dresser (for that moment) Apparently she continued to climb her dresser when she was supposed to be sleeping and knocked everything down including a snow globe and it shattered... spilling water on the dresser... causing her to slip and start falling off her dresser... she must have grabbed the bookshelf to steady herself and pulled it away from the wall but thankfully (I say that mildly) she fell letting go of the bookshelf and causing it to SMASH back into the wall (the noise I heard) 

So now she has no more bookshelf in her room (it has a nice SAFE home in our storage unit.. ahem.. I mean garage) No more snow globes, or movies, or puzzles or toys, or anything else for that matter... we even put away most of her stuffed animals until she can make better decisions with her "quiet time" We have also designated a "Naughty spot" that is NOT in her room to ensure her safety and boring-ness ;)

That was pretty much the "WORST terrible, no good, VERY BADEST day ever" Hoping there are NO more this crazy!! So so so thankful my sweet girl was protected and not hurt!!! Her guardian angels must be out. of. breath. for. sure!
