Well Gracelyn just turned 11 weeks and I can't believe just how much she smiles and laughs. Of course when we pull out the video camera she is mezmorized by it and doesn't perform so we have only caught it on tape once :( Also, our camera is so slow so by the time we capture her smile it is already gone ... hmmm what I wouldn't give for a fancy smantcy quick shot camera :)

One thing that is new this week is her sitting up! We will be sitting on the couch watching one of our four shows ( I know... terrible hobby but we can't give up our 24 or The Office or Smallville ;) anyway, she will just be sitting up straight in my lap. Or another favorite of hers is to stand up against the back of the couch ... only for a little while until her chubby little legs give out and then she sits down :) Another thing that is new that I don't like very much is her grabbing, pulling and ripping mommy's hair out... I am now forced to wear a ponytail :)
OOOoohhhh the joys of motherhood ... I wouldn't trade it for the world!
We are so blessed to have such a happy and joyful baby! The Lord has given us so much and we are so very thankful!

Oh man the famous Mommy ponytail! After 5 kids I still wear my hair up cause after all these years wearing it down feels weird. Hahaha. She is so cute Manda. Love you!
What a cute little fishy face!! she is really big Jesse is just over 12lbs.(she was bigger than him though when she was born) It sounds like you are just loving being a mommy and doing all the fun things. It is so nice to see what you 3 are up to because we still have not seen her yet. We should get together soon!! Let me know when your available!!

I have got to tell you! I have been following your blog since you have had your precious little girl. I actually work with Wes and Mo. Mo told me about the complications and we liften you up that day. I wanted you to know that your blog just brings a smile to my face! You are such an adorable mother. And some of your past blogs just bring joy to my heart to see how Jesus lives and works through you. I just wanted to share that with you. I don't really know you, but the Lord has definitely used you in my life. And I am blessed! Congrats to you and your hubby on your precious little baby girl..... And I love the fishy face! Priceless!

Those pics are so adorable! Capri is the exact same way! She just always stared right at the camera- we would even try to hide it from her to try and capture the smile- it never worked! Even yesterday, we took her to picture people, and she would stare at the guy, and then the second he was done run off smiling! It makes you appreciate the ones you DO get though- even more! I always try to have the camera handy so that I might get lucky!
