Some things that happened this month
~ She ate cereal for the first time... now she eats it in the morning and at night.
~ She is on part formula part breast milk. I was really sick last week and I couldn't feed her so David began making her bottles half formula have pumped milk. It was so nice to be able to sleep. One morning I woke up to him climbing into bed around three. He said he made a bottle and fed her... it was so thoughtful. This was great until I went a few days without pumping and wasn't even sore :( I knew that I was losing my milk. I have been pumping three times a day TRYING to get some in order to mix with her formula, and I try to nurse her for five minutes when I can in hopes to bring it back... or at least enough to get 2 oz into her bottles.
~ She laughed for the first time. David was drawing her bath water and I was undressing her so he was able to hear it too :)
~ She wears 6-12 sometimes 12-18 in clothing... we think she weighs around 16 maybe 17 pounds... we will see :)
~ She is almost into size three diapers... her thighs are getting SO big... both David and I were chunky monkeys so it makes sense for her to be too :)
~ She knows how to put her binkie back in FINALLY! that is, as long as it is still attached to the binkie holder!
~ She is still using her stomach muscles to sit up... and is scooting A LOT! I think it is so funny she will be crawling before she ever learns to roll over :)
~ She has outgrown her bathtub COMPLETELY... we are shopping around for the next step.
~ She uses the highchair.. and LOVES IT!
~ She is almost out of her car seat and ready for the next size. We have been researching and think we have found one we like. It is 5lbs to 65 and then the bottom comes off and turns into a booster... we wouldn't have to by another one. Now we are just waiting to save up for it!
~ She loved the toddler seat in her stroller. We don't use the infant adapter anymore.
Wow... I know there is more but that is all I can think of.

Can you believe she's getting so big already? Outgrowing things and all! About outgrowing her bathtub, have you tried putting her in the bumbo seat in the shower with you? Seriously, I've done this before and it's so amazing, saves so much time! (Just make sure she poops before she gets in the shower, let me just say it's a big mess to deal with!) And about a car seat, my friend suggested the Graco Nautilus, she said it's amazing, but I'm not sure if Gracie would fit in it yet, but it's worth looking at. And it has GREAT safety ratings, and lasts forever.
Those pictures are so adorable. :) After doing a lot of research and thanks to long lectures from my firefigher brother in law a 5 point harness is the ONLY way to go. I'd recommend the Britax Regent. It is HUGE and really roomy and the 5 point harness is used from 22 lbs. to 85 pounds. I saw a video on youtube a few years ago that broke my heart: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azgBhZfcqaQ it forever changed my mind on the importance of the 5 point harness. LOVE YOU!
