I know... I know... You missed us :) For some reason I didn't get around to writing a blog this week at all! It is SO not like me. I guess I was a little busy ... sorry guys! You can stop the blog threats now ;)
For a while Gracelyn has been TRYING to get over this stinkin' cold. Thankfully there is no more cough, but she did spend her sick days "bowless" hahaha have any of you ever seen her without a bow? Well... here is it the TOP SECRET photos of my baby girl without her "signature accessory" One thing you will notice is that she has a HUGE mohawk ALL THE TIME! She was born with this wonderful hairstyle and if we give her a bath and don't comb that hair... she wakes up with a MONSTER MOHAWK! (one of the reasons why she is always wearing a bow.. to distract from her mo) So here are all the pictures of her NOT WEARING A BOW!!! I do have to mention that NONE of these were styled or played with at all...PURE NATURAL HAIR BABY!!
Here is Gracelyn a day or so old in the hospital with her mohawk... first time wearing a bow :)
Third day in the hospital... big mohawk!
.:. Almost six months later .:.
HOLY MOLY MOHAWK!
seriously it does this all on its own!
There you have seen the Gracelyn Shea without a bow! HAPPY?!
I WILL be posting again soon. I have my Dr. appt to get the tests back on Tues. and then Gracelyn's six month on wed. so you KNOW you will hear from me :)
LOVE YOU !!!

Hi Amanda, your pictures are great! I think babies with mohawks are so cute, Gracie looks adorable! And thank you for the compliments on the bed, I actually keep walking into our room and just loving it! Wesley hung it with 2 small eye hooks (used normally for pictures) and 2 picture hanging nails. And it is actually not too heavy, I was the one who carried it up the stairs because I couldn't wait to see it in our room. It probably only weighs around 25 lbs. Let me know if you decide to do it! The best place for fabric that is affordable is Home Fabrics at Cactus and the 51. I would love to see pictures if you make one!!
I was born with a raging mohawk also. My brother and sis would call me baby T(after Mr. T). My parents did not cover it up with a bow, so all my baby pictures with "the" mohawk. So you are giving Gracie a great gift it both pictures.. :) but it does make for great stories later in life. :) She is absolutely beautiful with and without the mohawk. She's rockin' that Mohawk ;)
