My family hosts a traditional Valentine's Dinner every year. Growing up my Dad would take all of us to Black Angus (we have a lot of traditions) but as we started to date, marry and have babies it started to become more stressful and less relaxing and fun! So my darling Mom being the amazing party planning hostess she is started this!
We have fliet mignon, bread, shrimp dijon, steamed veggies, rice pilaf (try to copy the black angus menu) She dresses up the table and decorates the house to the T! My sister always makes her famous while and chocolate covered tuxedo strawberries and usually we have a cheesecake or pie of some sort! It has become a favorite of our holidays and we look forward to celebrating with the ones we LOVE!

I wish I had gotten a pic of all of us crammed around the table.... with two highchairs, a booster, a nursing baby and all.... Maybe next year!
