SiMpLy BlEsSeD: 18 months!

** This is a LONG post... mainly for my records and memory but feel free to read**

To our sweet, smiley, strong Ellabellaroo!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe we are already half way to her SECOND birthday! These past 6 months have been so fun! She wasn't walking and only had one tooth at her first birthday haha! She started walking around 14m and by 15m she was running!! She has lost a lot of her baby chub since walking (they all do) and she continues to sprout up just like her sister did! I am probably going to have some tall girls... I am OKAY with that... I will help them find long enough shirts and pants ha!

She started talking a TON in the last few months... my favorites are "Night night sissy" and "Mama...Sissy cry?" and "Down ppppspsssshhhhhh" which is Down please ;) It amazes me how FAST she is learning... I guess that it how it is with an older sibling to catch up to! I am ALWAYS saying the letter sounds with Gracie and one day I said "B says?" Ella says "BAH" haha we do a LOT of repetition in this house ;)
Today I was telling Gracie that Green means GO, Yellow means SLOW and Red means STOP... of course I made it into a song haha So I said Green means... and Ella yells "GO" and Yellow means... she yells again"GO" and Red means... she yells"BAH" Obviously we have a ways to go but she is like a little sponge that absorbs everything right now! Such a fun age!

She sings a lot.. right now I can't tell what words she is singing but she says random sounds and words to the tune of songs we sing all the time. She knows the hand motions and tune to "Itsy Bitsy Spider" only because I sing that EVERY time I change her diaper... no joke.. every time ha!

She loves her "sissy" and they sure bicker like sisters already... they wrestle HARD until she pulls Gracie's hair forcing her to tap out and wins every time! We are working on that :) She loves to lay on, sit on, ride on Gracie and is a HUGE button pusher.... rightfully so... she is second born ;)

She has QUITE the meltdown button and when pushed EEK the entire STATE can hear her loud ear piercing screech... much like Boo from Monster's Inc. I am SURE I could power ~~our house~~ the whole neighborhood with it!!! David wears shooting protection when her button is pushed so he doesn't pass out... it truly gives me chills sometimes ahhhh
The crazy thing is... if we are in the car and she does it I used to turn the worship music on FULL BLAST but that makes it worse... much worse... so I just recently started to reach back and lay my hand on her leg (yes while driving) it is an instant soother... that puts her into a comatose state. If I life my hand off a little the shriek comes back... if I put it back on her leg again instant fix! Nothing like a Mama's touch I guess ;) Can someone guess her love language? ;)

She is a TOTAL Mama's girl... it is about time I get one!!! She adores her Daddy and if he is just home from work she will want him but most of the time she wants me and still to this day she reaches for me I melt into a puddle. Goodness I just love her!

She has had quite the germy last few months... she has had a cold, cough, croup, double ear infections, pneumonia and hand, foot and mouth virus... EEK! Here is to hoping the next 6 months will be immune to EVERY germ out there! (Hey I can hope!)
