A castle fit for a princess :)
Gracelyn woke up to her present from David's parents. They dropped it off last night and David and I stayed up putting it together... when she came downstairs this morning she immediately smiled and walked over to her new CASTLE!!!! She spent the whole morning taking her brush (she carries it with her around the house) and pushing it down the slide and then following it down the slide. She still couldn't figure out how to go up the rock wall but she can go down the slide by herself :) SO FUN!! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Noland :)
Of course sometimes the box it came in is just as fun to play in!!!
Later today we had the most wonderful time today celebrating Gracelyn's birthday today with sweet family and friends!! It started off with rain and ended with a perfect day!! Of course since it was a cupcake theme, I went all out! cupcake bubble favors, cupcake plates, cupcakes balloon, cupcake candles, cupcakes, 2 cupcake shaped cakes, ice cream cone cupcakes, a cupcake pinata, cupcake birthday banner and finally a hand sewn cupcake outfit that I made her... complete with a cupcake clippie ;)
She was very good with her smash cake and ate it piece by piece... even though there was no doggy near like at home she dropped pieces off the tray... and then proceeded to pick them back up and eat them :) She was passed around to everyone and anyone that wanted some one on one birthday girl snuggle time and remained as happy as a clam till the very end. At first she didn't know what to do with her presents, but as soon as she realized there were toys hiding under the tissue paper she got so excited! Almost every item she opened caused her to squeal and then she would either rock or bounce with excitement :)
She ended up crashing before we even left the parking lot!
Lots and lots of close friends and family came to help us celebrate!! Thank you everyone for loving on our baby girl!!!
She is beyond blessed!!!! I used to LOVE setting up all my gifts and taking pictures, it is so nice to see what you got for which birthday!! Now she will have a picture to remember all of her first birthday gifts!!!

What a FUN first birthday! So sorry we missed it. Did you say you found a cupcake pinata? If so, where did you find it? Faith is doing a cupcake party for Brooke, so she was curious. :)
