Summer Time :)

We are definitely enjoying these cooler temps before it heats up again! Playing outside, visiting with friends and watching Gracelyn learn new things. She is really into reading... she will get a book and sit down on the couch or in her rocking chair that Papa got her.

New Things!

She is out of the highchair.. and now sits in a bigGER girl chair to eat at the table with us. She doesn't like to eat with her fingers as much and often prefers a spoon or a fork :)

She wants to do a lot of things "all by herself" which sometimes leads to ...

OOPS!!

I am amazed every day at the new words she has learned, and the things she can do... I can't believe she will be two in less than 5 months!!! and a big sister in about 3 months!!!

Visiting with Good Friends :)

This past week David's best friend was visiting from texas with his wife, their daughter and their soon to be second daughter... she is due just a few weeks after us :) We will both have two girls... and can't wait to see them next time and introduce the babies!! His family is some of the friendliest people and as always they are so kind to host a big get together when they come into town. It is so fun watching the kiddos grow up... Last year Gigi was only a few months old and slept through the party...

For the most part we have really loved our time together this summer. I am working only once or twice a week so I have more time to just spend with Gigi!!! We have started a play group and LOVE all the sweet mama's and kiddos that come! This Wednesday will be our first Mom's Night Out event where the Daddy's babysit and we get to enjoy dinner... without the kiddos!! 

We are getting very excited for our trip to San Diego!!! We leave next week and don't get back until July! David gets to spend all the time off visiting with his Aunts, uncles, cousins and Grandpa that live there.. and of course.. we get some much needed family time just the 3.5 of us ;)
