I know I say this every month but truly truly I can't believe my teenie little preemie baby is turning 1 in less than three months!! I have TRIED to enjoy the fun of planning another birthday! I LOVE planning parties especially for my babies!! I have finally decided on a theme for her party... Pink Lemonade and Pearls... I have so many fun projects and ideas I can't wait to get started :) Okay enough of the future, let's talk about the present...
THIS GIRL IS GROWING!
It is amazing to me how much she learns from day to day! She says "Da da!" to David and "Mumuh" when she is sad or wants to be held. Her new word is "Buh buh" It is so cute.. she doesn't know how to wave yet but using her words just melts me!
She pulls herself up on everything and just started trying to walk from the coffee table to the couch! She is SO close.. which makes me think she just might beat her sister at taking her first step... I don't know... we will have to wait and see.
She pretty much eats everything her sister does... the joys of being a second born! She had her first FRENCH FRY and no I am NOT ashamed... this mama eats them so much it is not fair to keep her from those deliciously dangerous fried potatoes! Of course she loved it and ended up having about three. I am going to look into different french fry recipes... like sweet potato and carrot.. since it is easy for her to hold and gum on it is a perfect junior food!! JUNIOR food because she still only has 1 tooth :) That doesn't stop her from eating .. kidney beans, black beans, pasta, cereal bars, green beans, blueberries, fava beans, pear chunks, watermelon, chicken nuggets, taquitos, cheerios, kix, and she has LOVED them all and has managed not to choke on any of them (thank you Lord)
She finally has learned how to drink out of a sippy but still prefers her bottle.
She weighs 22.4 lbs !!! And is 28.5 inches tall!! She is a healthy growing girl.. and it shows ... LOVE ALL those lovely rolls!!!
