" I do it myself!"

Gracelyn is very capable of doing things for herself so now she always tells me
"Mommy, I do it myself!" Of course if it isn't dangerous I will let her... like putting on her clothes, shoes, buckling her booster seat or her car seat (don't worry I double check it) She can go to the bathroom, flush the toilet, wash her hands and pull up her minnie mouse panties all by herself...
HOWEVER... there are SOME things she CAN'T do by herself... and yesterday was a beautiful reminder of that ;)

I went to the restroom while she was sitting at the table eating her cereal. Apparently she didn't buckle herself (I don't often leave the room unless she is strapped down haha) She comes upstairs and tells me

"Mommy, I spilled!" okay, this could mean a BUNCH of things... as I got closer to the kitchen I could hear a tricking... like water pouring out... my quick walk turned into a run and as soon as I saw it.... I ran and got the camera of course!

Oh how I wish our table was stained and protected... sigh...

Oh yes... the ENTIRE carton was gone... granted there was only half left but STILL that was the rest of our milk! *See her cereal bowl.. she filled it SO high the cereal floated out of it ahaha!

Those are David's ministry papers on the floor... someone pulled them down :/

Who can resist such a face! Especially since she is wearing flannel minnie jammies and a tutu because "she dressed herself"

We are now looking into a fridge lock.. ha! Never thought I would need one but this will also keep those apples and pears from disappearing as well ;)

Oh the moments when being a Mommy makes me laugh :)
