Week 14 :)

Well Gracelyn is fourteen weeks old today and boy is she growing!!! Most of you know that she IS a fast and strong eater... our little miss piggy we call her! She weighed in at 14 lbs just the other day... and I wouldn't be surprised if she is bigger than that already. We had to change her bottles to the next level... which is only 6 oz. so by the next month or so she will have to get new bottles that go up to 9 oz. She is still on a level 1 slow flow nipple mainly because I haven't wanted to go buy level 2's .... I know... I am so bad.
Some other new things for week fourteen.
* The purchase of a new camera. We finally decided to get one of those nice quick shot cameras and can't wait for it to come in the mail!
* She loves the exersaucer! We don't own one yet but we tried her in a friends... she doesn't really jump that much yet but she loves to stand without doing the hula hoop ( the motion she makes when we stand her up) We are picking one up from another friend tomorrow so I am sure it will become a new favorite.
* She has one baby bouncer that she loves it has fish in it and it makes bubbles... she loves it however, we don't. It was given to us so it has had its love through the years. The water in the fish tank is half way gone so when the toys inside spin they make a really loud annoying squeaky noise that she loves and David and I can't stand :) We have put her in a new bouncer that she likes a lot.. with lights and songs but she still favors the annoying one... go figure!
*She is still sleeping great... sometimes 10 sometimes 12 hours! We have continued to swaddle her but under her arms now... and usually when I find her in the morning, she has both arms above her head and is in a COMPLETELY different side and position.
* Her long legs have now moved her out of the baby bath and into the big tub. She loves to kick and splash and scoot and slide... leaving mommy and daddy wet and her smiling up a storm!
*She is grabbing toys and holding them and of course they go into her mouth. These along with her fingers... ALL OF THEM! There is definitely a tooth on its way and she can't gnaw enough on those fingers of hers. She stuffs them in as far as she can until she gags herself and then does it all over again... silly girl!
* Unfortunately this week as also brought on a chest cold. Her poor little crackle cough and rattling chest. Because of it she now snores! Hopefully the humidifier will help... that is also a new purchase for us!

So a lot has happened so far and I know a lot more will. Please pray for her cold that she heals quickly! David and I have been so blessed and continue to love every moment with her. We thank the Lord for giving us this precious baby girl to love and parent! Although we can't imagine loving another baby as much, we are so excited and can't wait for our family to grow!
