What a weekend!

All of us have been sick on and off for the last couple of weeks. Last night though it got worse. I ended up having a temp of 102.4! David being the amazing man he is not only took care of Gracelyn so I could rest, he also took care of me! He was so sweet offering me an ice pack and medicine to lower my fever. For some reason Gracelyn was fussy and not wanting to go to bed. Poor guy, he tried everything! Finally he made her a bottle and she ended up going down. Judging by the sweating my fever broke around midnight. This morning when I woke up it was at 96 and around noon it was back up to 102.5 :( It has been a tough day... but now I am finally starting to feel better... hence my post. Gracelyn and I took a wonderful 4 hour nap... we both needed it :) David has to work late tonight so I will try and make it to the Dr. tomorrow!
Hopefully I can finally get rid of it and prevent David and Gracelyn from catching it!

Enough for now... I am off to go get some apple juice.

Hi,
I wanted to post this anonymously for several reasons. Im a born again christian and am confused about the churches teachings vs. society. You seem like a wonderful woman of God, so I just wanted to get your input on two subjects, along with some other peoples. First off, what is your opinion on Gay marriages. Second what is your stance on abortion? If you could answer these for me that would be great. You dont have to give me long answers, just what you think because Im kind of on the fence between right and wrong.! please helP! im really trying to find God again.

GOd bless

My fellow sister or brother in Christ,

Gay Marriage: No! The Lord created marriage to be with one man and one woman. (Genesis 2:24)It is all part of his perfect plan. He made the human anatomy of a man and a woman to be perfect with one another like a lock and key. You can't unlock a lock with a lock that is why we have the key. In Leviticus 18:22 He talks about homosexuality being an abomination.

Abortion: That one is so personal for me since I am a mommy! First of all biblically the Lord says it is wrong to take another man's life. The sixth commandment of the Ten Commandments written in Exodus 20:13 it states clearly “Thou shall not kill.”
On a more personal level you are choosing to end a life of a human being! it doesn't matter if the baby is the size of a sesame seed or the size of a baby doll. Either way you are taking away the chance for that baby to be held and hugged and loved. That child will never see the beautiful creation the Lord made. They will never know what it feels like to laugh or play in the sand... ect. To me it is clearly said in the bible that the Lord knows every single thing about that baby while they are in their mother's womb (Psalm 139) and HE is the one who chooses to end a life not us! In the book of the Lord says each and every one of our days have been ordained! Psalm 139:16

2 Timothy 3:16,17 says “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

I hope this helped.. It is my heart and it is the word of God. The truth that I stand on and devote my life to follow!

Blessings,
Amanda

Very well put Amanda. Reading what you wrote also reminded me of the scriptures in Romans. (Romans 1:26, 27, 32) Love YOU!
