No easter bunny this year :(

Unfortunately a lot of our family was sick this Easter. David's parents had both gotten sick and had to cancel Easter dinner and I got sick Easter Eve. I later found out that my sister had been feeling icky and then after the family Easter brunch (that we missed) my mom started feeling icky too. That makes 5 people who had the stinkin' bug. As sad as it was to not have a "First Easter" for miss Gracelyn, we had a relaxing day. Around 3 I was starting to feel a bit better so I left my bed (which I had been sleeping in for 16 hours straight and came downstairs. I sat on opposite sides of the couch from David and Gracie and we spend the late afternoon watching a movie... our favorite thing to do as a family :) Finally around 8p.m. I was feeling a lot better. David and I put Gracelyn to bed and then he and I spent some time racing each other in Mario Cart Wii... I do have to say I did beat him a time or two ;) We had a lot of fun.... laughing and joking and of course trying to bump each other off the road into the water or hot lava!!

He was AMAZING!
Debby, you raised such a loving and thoughtful man!!! He did EVERYTHING! He fed, changed and entertained Gracelyn and constantly asked if there are anything I needed! All this AND managed to mow the lawn and do some other yard work. He has such a beautiful heart and I love him so much!!! God has truly blessed me!!!

I am still so sad that Gracelyn didn't get to wear her Easter dress, or take pictures finding easter eggs... but my family is going to attempt Easter take 2 next weekend... so stay tuned for family easter pictures :)
