7 MoNTHS!!!

**FIRST OFF, A BIG THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN VOTING EVERYDAY FOR ME...YOU ALL ARE AWESOME!


Where to begin... so many new things this past month!

Gracelyn went to her first Diamondbacks game and although her teeth made her a bit fussy she took a small nap and then enjoyed the rest of the game from the 9th ROW!!!!! Great seats thanks to some friends of ours!


She is changing so much into a little girl.. her hair is getting longer and I had so much fun putting her first "palm tree" pony tail in!


Lets see, she can get anywhere she wants (aside from the stairs) she can crawl a few steps but then belly flops... then inch worms her way across the room.


The baby pool is no longer her playpen... she can crawl right out of it... we have had a few faceplants ...OUCH! but after a few tries... we now use it as an actual pool!
What.. I am not doing anything...

OKay she is not looking go...go!

Yeah! I am half way there!!


The other day I found her under the coffee table, and later that day she moved all the way across the room to her toy basket and started taking out her toys. That can entertain her for hours! As long there are always toys in it she will take one out and then look in and grab another (still working on putting the toys BACK in the basket ;)

She can stand up at her piano or other tall toys and loved to bounce up and down to the music. She crawls towards the couch and pulls herself up which very often leads to falling backwards or sideways... which has led to lowering the mattress it is all the way down now and I have to climb on the side to give her a kiss :( We find her ALL THE TIME just sitting up in her crib... which means it takes FOREVER for her to go to sleep now that she can play!



In regards to food, she has tried all veggies and fruits and even patte' I mean beef puree ECK! She gagged and got chills the whole time, Dr. said to wait and just give her pieces of lunch meat next month! She LOVED hard pretzles and she will bang it on the table or tray till it breaks so she can fit it in her mouth. We have also been giving her frozen waffles because WE HAVE OUR FIRST TOOTH!!! the second one is just days away (we now know when the happy laughing baby all of a sudden screams and cries... a tooth is trying to break through) :( Poor Baby!
Other new foods she has tried: pizza, lettuce and taco meat, ice cream, cheese... all of which she grabbed herself off of our plates! oh and Daddy snuck her some Dr.Pepper... if she is ANYTHING like her mama... she has no chance of not becoming a Dr. Pepper addict!

Along with her first tooth came her first ear infection... because of the runny nose from teething... the only good thing that came out of that is she now LOVES to take medicine out of a srynge... I guess that is a good thing! AND of course she always wants to be held!! She is not normally like that, usually she will arch her back and fuss to get down, lately if you put her down.. she turns on the waterworks!

She likes to be near whatever I am doing.. for example, doing the laundry... but of course I can't hold a 21 lb baby AND the dirty/clean clothes so what do I do... I put her IN the laundry basket ;)



She is VERY active and when she is not unloading toys out of her basket or clothes out of the laundry basket, or groceries out of the bag, or diapers out of her caddy she is playing tug-o-war with Daisy... if she wins, she get to eat Daisy's NASTY toys... and if she loses she gives Daisy her bink.. which Daisy takes with pleasure ...oh dear... at least she is sharing ;)

She is having so much more fun now at work with me.. all four girls LOVE to play with her and "mommy" her! The other day they were playing dress up and decided to dress Gracelyn up as a princess too! How fun!

She just wanted to hold the magic wand!


She keeps us on our toes...and when we are not playing ref with the tug-o-war we are TRYING to get SOMETHING done around the house... she no longer just sits and plays with pots and pans... she now opens the cupboards to see what wonderful tupperware mom has stashed!
