Well Gigi and I are headed up to mountain country!! That's right UTAH HERE WE COME!! We are so sad to be leaving David behind... but we will talk to him and skype him so he can see his girls!!!
Since I was packing yesterday I didn't want Gracelyn to wear any of her good outfits so I put her in a t-shirt ... honoring Daddy of course because it WAS indeed Father's Day! Then I put on her little "Gigi Legs"
(I wanted to protect her knees while crawling but have her feet uncovered so she wouldn't slip BUT her thighs are so big even tights cut off her circulation... I needed something that was loose... and in this pic you can see one is actually rollin down... BUT i have thought of some things to add to it that will prevent that... SO... the Gigi legs are in the process of being born!)
I am also in the process of adding new products for my company so I was experimenting with the crocheted hat that her auntie Becca made her and of course I added my own "touch" hence her LOVELY ensemble... I OF COURSE LOVE IT!
Gigi not only knows how to get up the first step to the doorway BUT she insists on doing it all the time and playing up there ...Unfortunately... just minutes after I took these photos... she fell backwards off the first step (NO not the stairs.. the step down to our living room) and KER PLOPPED (as I say) just a small cry but no tears... I think her WELL cushioned tush took most of the fall ;)

Well, I don't know if I will have a chance to update while I am out of town BUT you KNOW I will have many many many pictures to post when I return! If there is a chance to upload/update I OF COURSE WILL :)

....and so it begins... our 13 hour drive.... please pray for our safety and sanity !!!

How funny! The girls and I are headed up to Utah next Monday. We are flying, but we also have to leave our daddy behind for work. Good luck! I think we are about in the same boat...taking 1 baby on a 13 hour road trip or getting 2 babies through airport should be equally as fun! :)

Amanda - Sorry it has taken me so long to respond to your questions about Baby James. Yes, he and his family are freinds of mine. His mom and I were in seminary together and worked on a youth staff together at a church in Dallas about 10 years ago. And since it is such a small world, James ended up being one of the preschoolers in my class this year! He is such a precious little guy with a super good attitude! Thanks for adding him to your prayers!
Awww I love the new touch to her beanie! That is so cute! I'm glad you were able to experiment with that hat and hopefully get more fun ideas for the company! Have a fun trip! I'll miss you guys!

The house question: We got this new house as a forclosure we are renting are other one out. We have put a lot of time and hard work into making it look like a home. We are enjoying it! We are off of Happy Valley.
