Our day at the Aquatic Center!

So Becca (David's sister) and I had been planning to take Gracelyn to the Aquatic Center at the Glendale Community Center! We got all ready to go and then got a call saying David was coming home early and would be joining us :) We had so much fun! They had a great baby playground and a bunch of leaking pipes (so fun) two water slides, a lazy river and a regular pool with a diving board! SOOOOO worth the 5 dollars we paid! At first the water was too cold for Gigi but she got used to it and ended up sitting on the edge of the pool and kicking and splashing in the water! It was the kind of pool that almost overflows so she was in the water but not in the pool. David and Becca went down the water slide but I was not ready to be dunked in the cold water... sadly we ran out of time in the end, perhaps another time I will conquer that slide!!!

We had purchased Gigi's first swimsuit in the beginning of summer okay maybe more like April but it was 12-18 months I thought it would last! IT DIDN'T :( The suit doesn't even come up to her shoulders anymore! Thankfully we were giving a suit back when we found out we were having a girl... I pulled it out of the storage tub and tried it on PERFECT FIT! I guess 12-18 months at Target is a little different than her new GAP suit that is also 12-18 months! MY LITTLE CHUNKETTE :)


***IF you look VERY VERY VERY closely you can see her first tooth...I never thought I would be so in love with a tiny tooth that has little ridges on it!!!! This is the ONLY picture I have of it... as I am sure you can imagine how tough it is to see it :)
