David has been playing for the Calvary Softball league for the last five years...the last three I have spent with him! I just love attending his games and cheering my man on! Watching him do something he LOVES just makes my heart smile :) Each year has been so different...
Three years ago we were engaged during the season.
Two years ago we were newlyweds and had a teenie tiny puppy that came with me to the games.
Last year we had a brand new baby whom I nursed most of the time.
BUT this year... this year I am NOT sitting... instead I am chasing after a VERY fast toddler!
This year David is only a sub since it is just so hard to commit EVERY saturday night for the season... not to mention we don't get home till 10 meaning Gigi doesn't get to bed till after that... and since we don't go to every game we now LOOK FORWARD to going on the nights we can attend. David's Dad and brother-in-law are also on his team... many of the same people have been on his team each year and both him and I have made some great friendships because of it!
It was so nice to have Grandma Debby, Aunt Evy and cousin Landon there to help us cheer on the Grey team!!!! Especially since it was very often only me sitting on the bleachers and keeping score! Of course I can't keep score anymore, now that I am constantly checking to make sure Gracelyn isn't putting EVERYTHING and ANYTHING into her mouth UGH!
and not as cold... last week we bundled up as if we were going to the snow!
