We were so blessed to find out that this sweet puppy needed a home. He was already house broken and fixed, up to date on his shots and even knows commands like come, sit, and shake!! He doesn't chew or bark... he is sort of a little scaredy cat which makes him that more loveable!! We got the chance to meet him tonight to see how he got along with Daisy and us. Of course since it was late Gracelyn had to go to bed, but we couldn't let her miss this... we got her up around 10 and she was so excited to see a "doggie" in her house. He was so good with her, giving her a lot of kisses and pretty much letting her touch every inch of his body... with her pointer finger ;) The seal of approval .... the kiss... and he got it! She kissed him with her mouth wide open... little did she know he wanted to give one back!! They are almost the same height when he is sitting... I think Gracelyn likes having a doggie that is her size!!
We had fun watching him explore... he LOVES the couch and thinks he is a lap dog... I loved it!!! Such a little cuddle bug... my favorite! We are so excited and can't wait to bring Buster into our family. Daisy LOVES having a buddy to play with! They were chasing each other around the yard! They will have so much fun playing in the yard during the day when we are not home. So fuN!!!
(This is how I told asked David)
The other day a friend of ours called to see if we were interested in adopting a dog they rescued. We had talked a few months back but had forgotten and didn't even mention it to David. Well, for as long as I can remember David has wanted a boxer!! One to jog with and play fetch with!! When our friends called and said it was a boxer puppy that needed a good home I couldn't believe it. I waited all day till he got home to ask him. I was expecting a "no" before I even began and since he knew something big was coming I could tell he was worried...but he kept listening... and smiling... so then I got excited...I told him that he was fixed, and trained and free and within minutes he answered "I think we can do that!" With a huge smile on his face! He was almost tearing up he was so excited!! A true little boy getting his dream dog! Of course he has always had a name picked out "Buster" I asked him if he wanted to think about other names... nope! This is HIS dream dog and he is going to be Buster... get it Dave and Buster ;)
He is already posing for the camera!! This is his "Blue Steel pose"
We can't wait to bring him home, and if all goes well he will be with us tomorrow!!! Trust I will post more pictures!!!

Hey Amanda,
I'm so happy you have this new addition to your family. I'm sure you know this, but I wanted to pass it along to you.

I don't want to raise alarm to you guys, but I wanted you to have these facts. But I'm not saying Buster won't be a good dog.:)
