Gracelyn's First trip to the Zoo :)

Gracelyn and I met up with a couple of our "Play date" friends at the Phoenix Zoo. Growing up here I have been to the Zoo probably over a hundred times, but Gracelyn, this was her very first time going. They girls had a lot of fun looking at the animals from the comfort of their strollers... perhaps they felt safer ;)

Her faces were priceless! She was in awe of every animal!

Yes, that ostridge was telling that poor Giraffe off... just seconds after this she flapped her wings and the Giraffe ran off :(

Sooooo pretty!












One of her favorite animals is a "Duh" she LOVES them!!! So of course she found the duck hidden among the flamingos!

We saw and otter sunbathing with his little tongue hanging out :)

Then we went over to the NEW Harmony Farms and saw Turkeys, Sheep, Chickens and Hens and Cows and Goats and an Elephant. We decided against the Petting Zoo and Playground since it was around nap time but maybe next time we will meet for lunch.. of course we would pack our own... way to pricey to eat there!

Look Mommy, a Turkey :) That is now a new word of hers "tookeeee"

After our friends went home, Gracelyn and I adventured on to the Tigers, and Lion, Rhinos and Monkeys!! The Monkeys, BY FAR were her most favorite... she actually got out of the stroller and went up to the window to talk to them :)

 

Here, she is growling at the Lions... this is her new thing, she will walk around growling at people and things... I guess it could be worse ;)

 We had a great time at the Zoo and decided to get a Membership... now Mommy, Daddy and Gracelyn can go whenever we want... oh and we can bring friends for free too!!!
